Relationship of Emotions and Art

Emotions are very powerful that we have to manage it properly. Our emotions can bring us into trouble. It may hurt someone’s feeling and it may harm our health. For instance, emotions bring us to drink till we drop, either because we are emotionally driven – happy or sad. But emotions can also drive a person to write, draw, or create an art work that reflects the artist’s emotions. Emotions become the artist’s inspiration for painting.

Emotions at its boiling point are a trigger factor that makes a person utter words that may hurt the other. After everything’s been said and done, you realize you did something wrong. Uttered words that you can never take back and the damage had been done.  They type of emotions you have can easily predict what comes next just like a 4d prediction that can roll out a random number for you.

What is the best way to manage your emotions? Well there is one helpful way. Grab a paper and a pen. Let your hand do its job to let that emotion pass. Doodle your way around the paper. Doodling is a form of art that can somehow ease the emotions. Emotions are one factor that makes the artist create a wonderful piece of art.

Artists especially painters, do this tactic. Have you tried visiting a museum? If yes, have you seen a painting with such anger on it? Of course you do, for these painters releases their anger on creating that painting. If they’re sad the painting will be full of sadness. Also if they’re happy the painting will be full of happiness.

Releasing your emotions through art is not only giving you the benefit of managing your emotions. You may also use that emotion in creating an art in making money. Remember that arts can be sold in the market. Many art collector don’t see the art by its beauty, they usually see the emotion of the artist who created it.

You will never know when and how your emotions will be disturbed. So my advice, especially to those hot tempered people. Don’t try to put up a fight. Instead, grab your art material and start releasing those emotions in that piece of paper. And maybe you may also this tactic in making some money that will help you with your expenses.
